Project: Weatherby Racecourse

Project requirements: Installation of Safestep Anti-slip horse flooring to parade ring areas.

We have just completed a Large project for Weatherby Racecourse, this project required complete installation of Safestep to all Parade ring areas. Weatherby Racecourse decided to use Safestep to an alternative to standard horse rubber matting as they were looking for a full one piece rubber horse flooring system that did not have the downfalls of bonded rubber horse tiles.

Installing Safestep has now allowed the facility to have full confidence for both horses and jockeys. Unlike conventional stable mats and horse pavers, the Safetsep system will not move or curl and nor will its colour fade over time.

Project: Headly Stud - Berkshire

Project requirements: To replace all existing stable mats - stable flooring and horse walkway flooring

We have just completed a Large project for Headly Stud, this project consisted of a full refit of all existing Stable Mats systems and all of the internal walkways. Headly Stud decided to use Stable-Turf as an alternative to standard horse rubber matting as they were looking for a fully sealed one piece rubber stable flooring system that did not have the downfalls of Liquid rubber horse flooring.

Installing Stable-turf has now allowed the facility to use up to 40/50% less bedding to accommodate their horses, unlike conventional stable mats that only allow a 20/30% saving. The stables are now much more hygienic due to the sealed layer of Stable-Turf and require minimal mucking out.
